About the Role
One Source Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician to manage commercial structured cabling and network cabling projects for local clients in Green Bay and the surrounding areas. Projects include copper and fiber installation, AV, access control, IP surveillance, and wireless networking. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership experience, and a commitment to quality structured cabling installation, testing, and documentation.
This is a local role – no extensive travel required.
Based in the Green Bay, WI area- Candidates within 50 miles preferred
What You’ll Do
- Lead small crews on commercial job sites for structured cabling and network installations
- Install and terminate Cat6 / Cat6A copper cabling
- Terminate and test fiber (mechanical or fusion splicing preferred)
- Install pathways (J-hooks, basket tray, conduit coordination)
- Rack & stack network equipment
- Perform Fluke testing, documentation, and network verification
- Read blueprints and coordinate with other trades
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to standard
Qualifications
- 5+ years commercial low voltage experience required
- Proven experience leading crews or running job sites
- Strong understanding of structured cabling standards and network installation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Preferred
- BICSI Installer certification
- Fiber splicing experience
